Egg Production on the Rise in Undisclosed Location

Lou laid her first eggs over the weekend while we were traveling.  I received happy, happy text messages from our wonderful chicken-sitters.  We got to see one of Lou's beauties this morning.

This is her third egg.  It's small and so adorable.  Her eggs will get bigger over time.  One thing we/she needs to work on is where to lay her eggs.  She currently prefers a dark spot in the coop underneath the two nesting boxes. 

Now we have three laying hens.  Bruiser, you are next!
