Ball & Stick Thrower

That's me: ball and stick thrower.  Ton and Boo made me smile at every moment of the farm stay.  Their eagerness and excitement to fetch sticks, half-chewed Frisbees & feed scoops, and the occasional dog toy was a contagious happiness disease.  I smiled and laughed and tried hard to make them play fair.  Boo likes to fetch all the toys while Ton can share.  Here they are, ready to play while I was gardening.

Gardening is something that I always enjoy, but the dog friends made it even more pleasant.

Little Marmalade was another playful friend, defending me from leafy branches.

I've enjoyed your posts and pics from your time at the Farmy. If it can't be me, a little far for a quick trip at the moment from Sydney to Chicago and on... then I'm pleased when someone else has the opportunity, and I think how wonderful it would be to enjoy summer, the garden and space, and the time with the Farmy cast :)

Thanks for your email! I hope that someday you can visit Cecelia and the cast of the Farmy. I wish that everyone could. It was an amazing experience every day from the time we woke to the time we said goodnight. Our days were full of routine chores and many surprises--which made it wonderful--the animals, the gardens, the food, the conversation. Our days were full of laughter. There were some tears.

Today I am home in Colorado and tired and honestly, sad that it is over. If the opportunity ever comes your way, jump on it!

Someday when I get to Sydney, can I look you up? :)
